HBI Ruger SFAR Gas Regulator 5 Position

HB Industires are proud to offer a wide range 5-position gas regulator for the Ruger SFAR family of rifles. The Gas Regulators are direct drop in replacements for the factory regulator and have been carefully tuned and optimized to provide absolute reliability and consistent ejection in each specific caliber and barrel length. The 5 gas positions in each regulator allow you to dial in your specific rifle for any ammo/suppressor/muzzle device/altitude/temperature by simply rotating the regulator between positive detents, just like the factory part. Compared to the factory parts, our regulators have finer resolution between settings, with additional low end gas settings to accommodate a much wider range of suppressor pressures. Our regulators are machined in house from chromoly steel, heat treated, and finished in black nitride.

NOTE: Ruger recommends a 100-200rd “break in” period on all SFAR rifles. While we have found this to be excessive in many cases, there is commonly *some* break in required to get the bolt and barrel extension running smoothly. On brand new rifles we typically recommend running gas fully open for a few mags before trying to fine tune.
